Yoga Basics Course 

Don't know your Down Dog from your Triangle? Want to learn why yoga offers so much more than a weekly bend and stretch?

This six session course will explore the key postures of yoga (from which all other poses stem from). A brief overview of yoga philosophy will be included as well as an introduction to breathing techniques and meditation practices.


Ideal for complete beginners or anyone who has practiced yoga before and wishes to review the basics and learn more about the background of yoga.

A longer class time allows basic yoga poses to be broken down, key principals to be explained and adjustments and modifications offered. There will be time to watch, listen, practice and ask questions along the way.


Weekly emails and handouts will accompany the course so that you can practice at home between sessions.


Gently increase flexibility, build strength, decrease stress and learn to quiet the mind.

Plus new starters get an extra (free) class with Jo after the course.

Let Go Into Autumn

Embrace the lessons of Autumn, as the trees drop their leaves, let go of deep held tension in the body and release into a blissful relaxation.

Come inwards, offer yourself the gift of rest as you ease your way towards a feeling of hibernation and renewal.

Relax and Restore (Restorative Yoga)

Working with pillows, bolsters, cushions and blankets, a combination of gentle yoga practices and restful, supported holds will allow your body to release deep held tension. Settle into a cosy relaxation position to finish with a guided meditation or yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to leave you feeling relaxed, restored and refreshed.

Renew your physical and mental energy with these relaxing sessions.

Goga (Yoga with Goats!)

An experience like no other! Combine the benefits of yoga with the animal therapy of a bunch of cute and cuddly pygmy goats. Jo has joined the team at Mucky Bucket Farm to offer these unique classes.


Escape modern day stresses and fill the bucket of life with overwhelming joy and happiness. Feel a warm and fuzzy comfort from practicing alongside these adorable goats, lose yourself in smiles and giggles and release tension and tightness from the body. 


Enjoy this one of a kind experience on your own, with family, friends or colleagues and become the envy of all those around you.

Winter Workshop - SYA

I am teaching this for the Southampton Yoga Association. A two hour session to re-balance and restore your energy.

The morning will include a slow gentle flow with some restorative postures, candle gazing and a cosy Christmas themed Yoga Nidra relaxation to finish with.

The yoga session is followed by a 'bring your own' drinks and nibbles

Christmas Events

Soft lights, warm blankets, a combination of gentle yoga practices and restful, supported holds will leave you feeling relaxed, restored and refreshed ready for the festive season.
