Welcome to Ananda Yoga with Jo

Hi, I'm Jo Welch. I teach a gentle style of Hatha Yoga led by the breath, exploring various asana (physical postures) with options and modifications offered along the way. Inspirational themes and yoga philosophy are woven into the classes to leave you feeling uplifted, empowered and calm. Lessons always include mindful movement and pranayama (breathing practices) and each session finishes with a deep relaxation and/or meditation to soothe the body and calm the mind. 

Longer workshops explore restorative postures and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) or might explore an aspect of the philosophy or science of yoga, offering you the chance to deepen your relationship and understanding of the practice of yoga. 

Serving yoga students from Fair Oak, Horton Heath, Bishopstoke, Eastleigh, Winchester and Southampton, Jo offers public and private yoga classes, online sessions, corporate yoga classes and workshops.
